we're all wet.....what I mean is that the challenge is "Under the Sea!" so we want to see those ocean creatures....using a Tiddly Inks image, of course!
This is what I did....
Okay, okay, okay, I know.....that's not really "Under the Sea". But, once I got this idea in my head I just couldn't get it out. And I've always really liked that song by the Police (Message in a Bottle) so I just went with it. I used one of the images from the Shh-Hark digi, there's six in total.
There are some elements of this card that just didn't photo well.....there's Wink of Stella on there for some glitter, there also some clear-ish embossing powder to make it shiny in spots, textured embossing paste is the white foam, and there a piece of acetate over the bottle so it looks like it's actual glass.
Made a discovery too while making this.....distress ink does not stick to tulle. Nope, it sure doesn't. And you end up with it all over your hands.....and I mean all over. Then, not noticing the absolute inky mess your hands are in you just go ahead and grab your already all done image panel and leave a perfect Walnut Stain fingerprint right there on it. And I mean perfect. This fingerprint could have won the leading role on CSI, and all the awards, as The Best and Clearest Fingerprint Ever. (Btw.....I really would like to know how often Forensics comes up with such glowing fingerprints in real life like they showcase on those shows. I mean really....when does a person ever pick up a glass like that without ever moving their finger even a millimetre or smudging it when they pick up the glass to drink from it again etc? Not hardly ever, I'm guessing.) I think I did a decent job of covering it up with more colouring and the watermark though.
