Hi there readers,
Hope your weekend has started with a bang rather than a whimper!!!
Ours did, we invited some of the surrogates round to join us for a BBQ yesterday .. of course, the great British weather sought to destroy our plans and it quickly became obvious it was going to have to be indoors instead! Rather than simply BBQ indoors the menu got changed to chicken green Thai curry/rice and red Thai spicy prawns and noodles - YUM! Lovely evening catching up with Dawn, Becky and Chris too.
Yesterday morning passed in a bit of a blur of domestic activity ... vacumming, dusting, ensuring we had all the right ingredients etc and, more importantly, tracking down those errant chopsticks! Still, managed to find a small window of opportunity for a quick CAS card ...

I was out to play yesterday ..... as you will probably see from the silly pix below! My mate likes spontaneity and, apparently, it's catching! We hit The Lock Keeper, it was very nice - shame the day was so dull and grey as I bet it's LOVELY in better weather!

Two super cards Kathy. The first is a very elegant design. The BBQ might not have happened but the menu sounds yummy. Some lovely photos. Barbxx
Aww - shame about the BBQ, but the revised plans sound great! Looks like you enjoyed your meal out with your pal too.
TWO brilliant festive makes here. I particularly like the coloured snowman.
Happy Saturday.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Two fabulous festive makes Kathy and what a sweet cherub and the black, red and white colour combination is so elegant, and the snowman and Santa have been coloured beautifully and love the stitched mats. Sorry the weather spoiled your barbecue plans but the Thai food sounds delicious. Great photos too. x
What no ATC? Two fabulous cards instead, I particularly love the second. Glad that the weather didn't spoil your fun x

The angel card was simple and striking in its simplicity. So glad you joined us at Morgan's ArtWrold.
I loved the cute Santa and Snowman too.
Wow Kathy you've certainly been busy and oh so creative this week. That cooler weather paid off. This snowman and Santa for the Watercooler Wednesday Christmas challenge is simply delightful. I really like how you showcased in with the stitched circles, and I also love how you've finished the insides and envelopes for your cards. Wonderful.
Two wonderful Christmas cards! I love al the stamps you used and the use of red card gives a lot of Christmas feel! The pierced circles in your LIM card look fab and I love the layout -fun idea not to place the circle in the middle but the the bottom half of the card. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
very cute card and perfect piercing ;-)
Additionally, two nice cards. The simple black and red is very pretty. Thanks for joining my All About Christmas challenge this week at Watercooler Wednesday.
What lovely pics, Kathy! Glad you had a good day. Loving your Christmas cards! Crisp, stylish perfection for the first one, and what a fab traditional look with the imagery and stitched circles on the second. Gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
Hi Kathyk, oh how sweet are they two, the snowman and Santa. Love them and how you put them in focus. Why all the time put the subject in the upper part, the effect you created with putting them in the lower half of the card is perfect. Hugs Claudia
