It's FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Morning

Don't you find that life is kind of weird sometimes? I stamped the image for the card below, on Monday morning and took it to my "colouring room" (which, btw, sounds far grander than it actually is - it's aka my dining room!!!!), realised it was lunch time so got no further. Post arrived whilst I was "at lunch" and, guess what? A card arrived - nothing unusual in that, I hear you cry. And you would be right .... but for the fact that the EXACT same image was on the envelope!!! SPOOKY or what? Needless to say, I returned to my colouring station and completed the card you see below ..

My card

The front, back and inside of my card, along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of card (one white and one gold) cut to 14.2cm x 10cm
  • One piece of white card cut to 13.7cm x 9.5cm
  • Snippets of card in white, black and gold for my image panel
  • Circular dies (plain, stitched and scallop edged) to die cut circles for my image
  • Narrow gold satin ribbon
  • Funny Bones image (for Riley & Co) and Stamplorations sentiment builder stamped using Memento tuxedo black ink
  • Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image and background, blended using Sansodor and a paper stump
  • Plaid dimensional gloss applied to the "glass" in the image

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-

This is a great vintage image Kathy and I wonder what odds you would get on having someone send you the same image at the same time. Have a good weekend. x
