Hi there readers,
This time last week I was at a crafting retreat in Swindon and having an absolute blast .. made a good number of cards and card fronts (since I didn't have envelopes with me and I could not, for the life of me, remember the size of an A2 card) with the intention of making them in to finished cards once I got home. Today's first make is one of those ..
My card |
- White A2, 250gsm card blank and matching sized envelope
- 300gsm white card panel cut to 13 x 9cm
- Washi tape to mask off my image panel
- Distress Inks: tumbled glass, salty ocean and just a touch of stormy sky applied with a Tim Holtz mini blender
- With the washi tape still in place I stencilled Distress Ink in evergreen bough through the stencil (from set #20)
- I borrowed the tree and sentiment from Gay (it's Stampers Anonymous Great Outdoors) and stamped it using Memento tuxedo black ink
- A touch of stardust stickles to bling up the tree and frosty "ground"
I'll be entering the above for the following challenges:-
- The Holly and The Ivy - challenge No. 20 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
- CAS-ual Friday - challenge No. 188 - WINTER BLUES
- Simply Papercraft - challenge No. 53 - ANYTHING GOES
- Crafting with friends - challenge No. 56 - ANYTHING GOES
- Naughty or Nice - challenge No. 46 - SEASONS GREETINGS

And now for my next make ...

I adore the design of the first card Kathy with the pretty blue stripes and stencilling and the tall tree is perfect, then the sweet bear within that great swirly sentiment wreath also extremely pretty. x

Your first card looks great; like the bit grungy style; so good for a guy!
And what a great sentiment on your LIM-card! Fun how it contrasts with the sweet guy! Enjoy your weekend!
