Woo Hoo, the weekend starts here ...

Morning all,

Well, starting to get back to normal yet? "DONE" the sales yet? Me either - there's really nothing I need (or want) QUITE that much! That said .. I DID check out the Hobbyartstamps.com site and yes, I DID succumb to two sets, not that they have arrived yet .. maybe today (she says optimistically).

Decorations down and Christmas cards recycled, place vacuumed and dusted - dex are back to the loft and the Christmas cards ARE in a bag for recycling, I just haven't quite made it there yet! Too late last year so best I get a wiggle on.

What's my excuse? Too busy crafting perhaps? ... well, whilst I still had the Christmas stamps out ....

My card

The front, back and inside of my card along with the back of my envelope -
both the image and the sentiment were too big to put on the front of the envelope - IMHO

Materials used:
  • White C6/A2, 300gsm, card and matching sized envelope
  • Two pieces of white card cut to fit
  • One piece of navy card cut to fit and a circular aperture die cut
  • Hobby Art (Camel ye faithful) image stamped using Tim Holtz mixed media Distress Ink in black soot, I also stamped the head on a snippet of white card which, once coloured, I fussy cut out  before adhering once my card was assembled
  • Hobby Art sentiment stamped on to the navy card using Versamark ink, WOW! white puff tinsel embossing powder sprinkled (returning excess to pot) and then heat embossed. Elsewhere the sentiment was stamped using the black soot ink
  • Stampers Anonymous hat (from Crazy accessories) stamped using the black soot ink, coloured and fussy cut out for attaching once the card was assembled

I'll be entering the above make for the following challenges:-
  1. Addicted to Stamps - challenge No. 273 - HOLIDAY
  2. The Holly and The Ivy - challenge No. 21 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES
  3. The Merry Christmas Challenge - challenge No. 1 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES + unused optional twist of HAPPY NEW YEAR)
  4. Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday challenge - SOMETHING NEW (new stash - camels)
  5. Chrimbo Crackers - challenge No. 141 - ANYTHING CHRISTMAS GOES

Did you all catch sight of the "supermoon"? I got a pic, not sure how good it is but, it's a pic nonetheless!

Your camel is fabulous; he reminds me of the trio who sing in the long-ago released Claymations Christmas show! So thrilled you shared this dapper fella in the Addicted to Stamps and More gallery!
