Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October Release Krafty Hop!

We're excited because it's FINALLY October Release Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! We're releasing all the new CLEAR stamp sets we've been previewing all week and we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!!

I used the new Christmas Cheer set for my card.  I kept it pretty simple and flat for mailing!  I absolutely ADORE the movie Elf so it was a no brainer for me to choose this sentiment for my card!  I added a little Buddy the Elf hat onto my sentiment and used some older Doodlebug papers that reminded me of a candy cane forest!  LOL!  I LOVE this new sentiment set and know I'll get a ton of use out of it for my Christmas cards this year!

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Christmas Cheer!

Oh my goodness!  It's hard to believe that my blog has been silent for this long!   Obviously I haven't been stamping - I've been taking a bit of a break.  But when I saw this amazing new Christmas Cheer set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - I begged Kimmie to let me help out with the sneak peeks.  I picked this wonderful sentiment (I {heart} the shadow and distressing in the lettering) and paired it with some Doodlebug Christmas papers.  I couldn't help but use a die to make an iconic Starbucks cup to go with the "warm memories" part.  I distressed everything up and added some burlap ribbon.  I love clear stamps - and these ones are such high quality, they stamp beautifully!! 

The set features EIGHT amazing sentiments that can be used as the focal point of your creations or they can be an addition to another image and also for the insides of your holiday cards!

I've used one of Emilie's new images from the You Are Beautiful set.  I just adore these girls in their frames.  I coloured her up with my copics and added some more shading with my chalk pencils.  I used some older Echo Park papers (Yours Truly) and cut up a Doodlebug doily as well.  I used my Sakura Stardust pen to add some gold accents to match my scallop trim.  Isn't she beautiful?

Krafty Peeks - You are Beautiful!

Well hello there!!  Happy New Year!  It's been eons since I've made a card - but I finally have one for you today!  Since the last time I posted, we bought a new house, sold our old one, and moved.  But when I saw this month's Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, I begged Kimmie to let me stamp with them!!  And because she's amazing - she agreed!!  So...welcome to day ONE of our JANUARY 2015 Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! We have so many goodies in store for you for our first release of the year and we're thrilled about today's new set especially! So here we GO!!

Today we are THRILLED to introduce a new artist to you! Well, actually you may remember that she used to design for us a couple of years ago and now SHE'S BACK!! It's the totally talented Emilie Goulet!!! Be sure to welcome her back and we are previewing her very newest AMAZING set today!! It's called YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

These gorgeous framed ladies and sentiments are perfect for those thinking of your cards to tell someone just how special they are!! They're also great for scrapbook pages or your pocket page books as well!

I paired up this sassy lipstick girl with some older Doodlebug paper.  I added a sequin flower on top of a felt flower, as well as a wooden arrow for embellishment.  I was going for different textures and I think it all works.  I just love this entire set!!

Wonderful Wednesday - Relax and Enjoy the Sunshine!

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday challenge and we hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!  Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!

Your submission must use at least one Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until June 10th!! At the end of the month, one winner will be chosen from all the submissions that month and will receive a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps prize pack!

I used another one of the images from the new Beachy Keen set.  I just love this one because it combines a couple of my favorite things - reading and sitting by the beach.  I kept the layout super simple and used a sentiment flag from the Echo Park Summer Bliss paper pack.  I'm not sure if you can tell, but I covered the beach ball with a couple of coats of Sakura Clear Glaze pen - so it's all shiny!

It's a Krafty Wonderful Wednesday!

Well hello!!  Long time no blog!  It's so nice to see you again.  I took a bit of a krafty break to take care of some things on the home front and am back with a Wonderful Wednesday challenge!  As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

I used one of the images from the new Beachy Keen set that was just released!!  I paired it up with some Echo Park Summer Bliss papers and added a die cut flower, leaf and a button for embellishment.  I also added some linen ribbon (it's sand coloured, no?!) and some candy dots up on the sentiment.  I love this girlie!  And while you won't find me in a bikini - I may very well be doing this pose the next time I hit the beach!!

March 2014 Krafty Release Hope - Wanna Hang?

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists for our March release! We’ve got something for everyone!! We’ve got a very unique new SLOTH set from Thai called WANNA HANG? There's an awesome new a-MOO-zing new set from Cheryl called DOWN ON THE FARM 2! Lastly, we are SO excited to share a SASSY new Moonlight Whispers stamp set....SHOW STOPPERS!

I picked a stamp from the new "Wanna Hang" set, since I hadn't had a chance to get them inky yet.  I went for a clean and simple theme.  The tummy on this guy reminded me of a Care Bear (remember them?) so I went with it and I'm calling it "whimsical".  I stamped him on a kraft coloured card and coloured him up with my prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol.  I added some washi tape and a couple of felt flowers and left it at that since the edges were already scalloped.

I picked this super cute Lucas image to use and pulled some Echo Park This & That papers out for a bit of a farm feel.  I stamped the sentiment right on my patterned paper and added some cork, felt, and epoxy flowers as well as some twine and a die cut star.  Isn't he cute?!

I used this cutie pie bookworm from the set and paired her up with some Echo Park Paper & Glue papers.  I added some cork, burlap ribbon and a fab sentiment to round it out!!  How sweet is this set?!

Krafty Peeks - Glamour Girls!

I've used this gorgeous new stewardess image and paired her with the perfect sentiment for today!  This is actually my Valentine's card for my hubby!  The papers are all Echo Park and I combined some fun mesh ribbon with pleated ribbon for a bit of contrast.
