Birthday Carousel Ride - and a ribbon tutorial

Last week I won over at Inky Impressions with my Whoopsi Diasy DT card.  :) Yay!!  I had the privilege of picking five images from the Milk N Coffee Etsy shop.  Here is one of the images I picked.  This is Nikki In The Carrousel.  I used to collect Carrousels so this one was precious to me!  I added some fun Acrylic Flowers from Michaels, a glittery butterfly I got at Zurchers, lace, ribbon, gems and ribbon.  I'm thinking I will show you how I made the bigger bows...just because it is too easy not to share.  But first let me show you the card!!

Isn't she adorable?

BEFORE I SHOW YOU THE TUTORIAL...PLEASE GO FOLLOW ME AND ENTER FOR THE HUGE BLOG CANDY GIVE AWAY I HAVE AVAILABLE!!

Okay, so, I'm going to do a quick tutorial on how to make these big multi- loop bows.

What you need...
1. small hair pick
2. ribbon
3. scissors
yep, that is it!

Step 1:
start wrapping ribbon around each comb tooth alternating.  Do not flip the ribbon, keep it flat:
Step 2:
Wrap around as many times as you want loops (each time you go around the edge tooth that's how many loops you will have (this one shown has two loops).  Once you have gone around as many times as you want pull a separate piece of ribbon through the middle space of the comb

Step 3
Tie this piece in a knot.

Step 4
Slide off the comb gently, and this is what you get

Easy huh?  :)  Gotta love easy!

Thanks for looking!
