Grand Illusion Part 1

The best way to spend Black Friday is starting a new quilt.  This is Bonnie Hunter's 2014 mystery quilt - Grand Illusion.  This will be my third Bonnie Hunter mystery.  

Here are my fabric choices:  I liked her suggested colors and so did Lexi, as she has already claimed ownership of this one.

I got a bit carried away on half square triangles.  Made about 60 more than I needed even after setting aside 80 for later.   I always find a place to use these leftovers. Everyone was gone, the house was quiet, and I just kept sewing...
