Grand illusion mystery 2014

My friend hooked me up with Bonnie Hunters Quiltville.com web site and asked me to do the 2014 mystery. I am excited to work on this because I was able to use so much fabric from my stash! I only had to buy the yellow constant because my yellows didn't have enough yardage. I got my first step done this morning while watching an October Quilt cam. I sewed last night and watched Bonnie on Quilt cam too. I haven't gotten gutsy enough to send in any texts. But, I thought I would try a blog for this purpose. So, here it goes, I took pictures of my fabric after cutting for the first step. And I have my blocks all done and on my ironing board. Ready for Friday's next clue. In the meantime I will fix and few long johns for DH and finish the two queen size quilts i quilted the weekend before thanksgiving at my sisterinlaws.
