weekly challenge
This week's challenge was to finish my mini art quilt inspired again by the lovely book Scandinavian Stitches (I think I'm getting obsessed with this book). All the fabrics used in this project was repurposed, dad's old pajamas, mum's old 70's skirt. So think again, repurpose, repurpose, repurpose!!
This is my first attempt to actually make a quilt. I am using my mum's at least 50-year old sewing machine, which has only one basic running stitch and there is no possibility of changing the foot to a running foot or to free motion sew. Here are a few photos of my finished project.
Birds mini art quilt |
I have to add to two buttons to the backside in order for me to be able to hang it in my work space. And it is finished!!!
Hope you like it.
