This weekly reading list meme is hosted at Book Date. Join in to see what others are reading and maybe get some ideas of what to read next! I also link up with Tales of a Pee Dee Mama for D.E.A.R. Monday (Drop Everything And Read).
This probably bothers no one by myself, but I could not get blogger to follow my instructions to center the images and text in this post, so I gave up (for now!). It's frustrating me terribly so I will likely keep fiddling with it until I figure it out! In the meantime, pardon me if it looks odd!

I finished reading . . .
No Way Up (The Cimarron Legacy Book 1) by Mary Connealy - excitement and romance, and a bit of humor in the New Mexico Territory. (Read my full review HERE)
Lady of Ashes by Christine Trent - Fascinating mystery with a woman undertaker in Victorian London as the title character. (Read my full review HERE)
I'm currently reading . . .
Shades of Milk and Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal - This is like a Jane Austen novel in which magic is real. I think I'll like it - I'm still deciding.
The Pharaoh's Daughter: A Treasures of the Nile Novel by Mesu Andrews - I'm enjoying the start to this, but it's also giving me a case of deja vu, and I haven't quite figured out why!
Out of Control (The Kincaid Brides Book 1) by Mary Connealy - after realizing that Heath Kincaid (in No Way Up) is the younger half brother of the men in this series, I figured it would be worth reading about The Kincaid Brides. Off to an exciting start, of course!
Next on the stack...
Charity's Cross (Charles Towne Belles) (Volume 4) by MaryLu Tyndall
The Winter Crown: A Novel of Eleanor of Aquitaine by Elizabeth Chadwick
On my blogs last week . . .
Here on Just A Second:
And on my homeschool blog, Homeschool Coffee Break:
What are you reading?
I have that same centering issue on one of my blogs but not the other. I've given up trying to fix it. I loved Shades of Milk and Honey and devoured the rest of the series too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeletehow strange! I've never had a problem until today, and my other blog is fine.
DeleteA busy reader, Kym! I am posting a child's book, but have just finished Uncle Tom's Cabin and will be reviewing it soon. But one big book a month seems about my speed along with bunches of picture books!! : )
