Almost finished

I started this twin quilt last week and got it put together last evening. Still have the binding to put on it but it is ready to go for this evening. It used up some sheets and has several mistakes in it but I'm happy and thinking there will be another one made only in a queen size. It went together really fast. The feel of used sheets is so soft and I love working with them.

Got to get off here as hubby has a physical therapy appointment.

    I had entertained the idea of using sheets as backing but had read somewhere that it wasn't a good idea. Your post has proved the pundits wrong!

    What a soft and pretty quilt! I love the feel of old sheets and have been thinking I might start looking for some to add to my stash. Like I need more fabric...

    Is the sashing also sheet material? It really makes the other designs pop.

    Very nice. I also like the feel of sheets, but have heard they are difficult to quilt with. Guess you didn't have this issue?
