Hello Stampers ~ are you into paper boxes as I have a handmade paper box for you today!
Well I got a lot done yesterday. I made my video for Wednesday, made birthday cards and thank you cards, and took Zoie to the dentist as Jess had an appointment. Busy day but very productive. What did you accomplish yesterday?
Today is a color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments
Aren’t these colors so fresh? I loved them. I did not want to make a card so I thought I would play with my Window Shopping thinlits. I cut the box out of Pool Party. I then added some of the Basic Pack 3 washi tape and the Flourish Thinlits circle strip to the sides. Then I put the box together. It was time to decorate the top. The flower was cut with Basic Black using the May Flowers thinlits. I attached it to the top using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue. I had planned on using the Dragonfly thinlits so again I went searching and found this dragonfly that the colors looked similar to our colors.
Using the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits I cut out a solid one using white and lacy one using Pool Party. Using Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist ink I sponged the wings on the solid dragonfly similar to the one in the picture. The lacy dragonfly was added to the solid using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue. A piece of Flirty Flamingo ribbon was cut and folded in half and added to the top of the box. To finish off my handmade paper box, I attached the dragonfly using dimensionals. Here is the finished creation.
