the ORC week four:

Broken. 

As my room sits there not nearly as far along as I hoped broken is the word of the day. After two weeks, two rooms of up and down the ladder, over and over with the paint brush I knew something wasn’t right and I finally went to the doctor... and heard what I really already knew. My foot is broken. Whoops!  Really putting the challenge in One Room Challenge. So here I am on Friday finishing up this post. I spent the drive home from the doctor yesterday laughing at myself, really amazed at all I have accomplished but finally feeling it. 

I am giving myself the weekend to elevate the foot, relax and hope next week I am back with all the pretty and DIY's that I planned. I did not come this far to give up!

Welcome! I'm Jenn, in house designer, diyer, styler, try to do it all-er, wife to Ryan, mom to Bella Jack and Madelynn. Ryan and I have known each other since elementary school, have been best friends and high school sweethearts. We have been through it all (no really) and I think of myself very lucky that I get to have him by my side... I mean who else will do all the heavy lifting?!

Through the years we have moved too many times to count spanning 5 states from rentals to owning... as a family we have ventured in and out of eleven houses all while doing everything we could to make each a home! On our blog you'll find the many adventures there is even a camper and brick and mortar store!

Our Home

When we moved from Massachusetts to New York we needed to find a place fairly quickly, so a rental it was... we found our groove there on Grove St. along with great friends that became family we knew New York was meant to be our home. Two years after landing here I stumbled upon the listing for our house, just knew it was meant to be and the rest is history...
