'Deadly Dragons' gets bonus points from me because the story is about unlocking the magic of books for young readers. Books are banned in Hiccup's world, and he wants to change the rules on that (as he should!). It's a fun adventure to go on with Hiccup, and what a brave lad he is.

The only thing I don't like about this series is one character's name -- I find it offensive in a kid's book to name a certain woman after her body parts. I can imagine many parents finding this concerning.
