I have a cute, little card for you today. I got this stamp set, "Animal Outing" at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage in April. This is the second time I have inked it up and I don't know why I haven't used it more. The images are just so adorable! I have definitely got to use it more.
I made this card using three different challenges. A bit crazy, I know, but when I looked at the inspiration picture at Hand Stamped Sentiments, I knew I wanted to use "Animal Outing" and when I was trying to figure out what to do, I came across the sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges and it was perfect!
Here is my card:

Over at SUO Challenges. they had a theme: Babies & Kids, and naturally my card fits this theme. Boom! Three challenges, one card.
Here is the color palette that I used:
I think this rhino is so darling and that bird on his horn, stinkin' cute! The images in this set are so easy to color and add shading as the shading is already done for you! How cool is that? You look like you are a professional when coloring these animals.
I wanted this to be a birthday card and the sentiment actually says, "Thanks Big Time". I ended up taking my Call Me Clover marker and only inked up the "Big Time" and stamped it onto my stitched circle. Then I took the "celebrate" from the stamp set, "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" and stamped it above the "Big Time" and there you have it. A Birthday card.
I added a strip of "Animal Expedition" DSP to the side, a strip of card stock and some Glitter Enamel Shapes and my card was done. I think it turned out very cute. I love the embossed background. I originally made the card with a plain white base, but felt it was too plain. I then took the panel of White card stock and embossed it with an embossing folder to make the little polka dots and that little touch made all the difference. I love it!
