Welcome to Friday and the start of another weekend ....

Friday again and that can only mean one thing ... IT'S THE WEEKEND!!!! I hope you all have something lovely to look forward to this weekend.

I was asked to make a Congratulations (baby) card recently but I didn't know the sex of the child so ...... I offered one blue make, one pink make and then - this one, the kind of gender neutral option!

My card

  

The front, back and inside of my card along with the front and back of my envelope

Materials used:

• Cream A2/C6, 250gsm, card and matching sized envelope
• Two pieces of 300gsm cream card, cut to fit
• One piece of orange card, cut to  mat
• Snippets of the cream and orange card, die cut to nest using plain and faux stitched nesting rectangles
• Stampcraft images (440D29 and 440D76) stamped and Avery Elle sentiment (from ST18-07 "Loads of wishes) using Memento tuxedo black ink
• Stardust stickles and Zig wink of Stella clear glitter gel brush pen used to highlight
• Narrow orange, satin, ribbon tied in a double knot off centre, to finish

And now for a regular Artist Trading Card ..... this time featuring a cute little penguin!

My ATC

Materials used:

• Snippets of card, two pieces of white and one piece of textured DCWV green
• MFT Faux stitched rectangle nesting dies
• I adhered one piece of white to the reverse of the green before die cutting the larger rectangle
• On to the smaller white rectangle I stamped the Paper Artsy image (from ZA19) and the Penny Black sentiment (from "Giving and Receiving") using Memento tuxedo black ink
• I stamped the splatter image (Printworks F1066 "paint spatter") image on to the green card using Ranger Archival library green ink
• Faber Castell polychromos pencils used to colour image and background, blended with gamsol (thank you Lilian)
• Kaisercraft glitter gel pens to add twinkle and colour to the stars and crown
• Stardust stickles to the "snow" and exclamation mark
