Father's day

Good evening everyone. Well maybe the sun will come back out next week when the school holidays are over - that's always the way isn't it!!
I have made another of these envelope cards this time for Father's Day.
The background is faux leather which I made myself using a cuttlebug folder, some distress ink and embossing powder. I am really pleased with the way this turned out and can see me making more of this. It even has a nice feel to it..
The border in the middle is stamped using a new stamp of mine from Kaisercraft(Tic Toc). These are fantastic stamps and have some wonderful images in the range.
The cog wheels have been die cut using a spellbinders die on a piece of distress inked background.
Now for the inside piece:
"Like all great travellers I have seen more than I remember and remember more than I have seen."
I wish I could get it to show up a bit more clearer. Will work on it!

    It's great to see a different type of card and these are brilliant. Hopefully the sun will be back with us again soon - so typical it has been like this while the children were on school holiday.
