Easter shadow box card featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

Are you loving all the beautiful Easter projects everyone is posting??!! I love this time of year! A time of renewal, faith, and hope. I'm starting to see a few sprigs of green grass slowly peeking out. Winter is definitely not done yet, but spring is coming! I wanted to create a fun shadow box card using a bunch of different Easter images available from Art Impressions. This box was a lot of fun to make! I started out by stamping all these fun images onto a Copic friendly paper and then coloring them with the Copic markers I've listed below for you. I just noticed I forgot to put the cute little white dots on the Peeking Bunny image, but I don't think it detracts from his adorable face. I built up the shadow box from a shadow box die set I have in my stash, and then cut out some strips from AI paper and used a grass die to create a fun polka dotted grass element. It just adds to the whimsy of this project. I used I love that this folds flat for mailing!

That top cross piece is supposed to add stabilization to the shadow box, but I used such a heavy cardstock I didn't really need it.  I wasn't sure if I was going to hang anything, so I went ahead and added it anyway.

And here's a good look at how dimensional this really is. I love it!

So that's it for me today! I hope you enjoyed my project. Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Peeking Bunny Butt featuring Art Impressions products

 Hello AI Fans!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! The weather here was amazing, but it turned cold again on Sunday. But it's getting closer and closer to spring! It will be here before you know it! I've got an Easter card to show you today. I started with stamping the pot of tulips and that adorable bunny butt from #5870 Peeking Bunny Set onto some Copic friendly paper. The Copic colors I used to color everything is listed below. That fun sentiment is from 5867 Mini Easter Sentiment Set.  See that horizontal strip of paper across the bottom half of the card? That is actually the back panel that comes in Art Impressions paper packs. Don't forget that makes for a fun patterned paper that you can use as well! It's sooo funny that my Design Team sister Janet did the same with her card this past Thursday, so make sure to check out her post and how she used it! Great minds think alike! I used 6012 Basic Yellow PP. To mat that horizontal panel, I matted it with a piece of cardstock that I used the scalloped die from 5543 Journal Template Die Set.  To make the fuzzy cotton tail, I just pulled the end of a Q-tip off and cut it down to the perfect size for the image.

So that's it's for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit, and until next time - stay crafty!!

Some Bunny Loves You featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were able to get a little crafting in! I've got a fun project to show you today and believe it or not, I didn't use a single Copic marker!! LOL! That's highly unusual for me! I created a cute little pocket frame all decorated up for Easter. I started by using #5902 Mini Scalloped Frame Dies in pink cardstock and glued it together. I then grabbed #5872 Bunny Gift Card Holder Set and decorated the front using papers from 5742 Easter Journal PP, only instead of having her hold the egg die that comes in the set, I decided I wanted her to be holding a heart. So I used 5721 Nested Heart Dies. I created a tag to slide into the top by just cutting one myself. I used 5867 Mini Easter Sentiment Set on the tag. How cute would this be to tuck inside an Easter Basket for your loved ones?

That's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!

A double slider magical birthday card featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

I've got a double slider card to show you today that I created for the current Highlights Challenge. So it looks like this small, unassuming card when you first look at it. But when you pull on the pull tabs, it turns into this amazing scene. I loved creating this and I really do like how it turned out. I started by stamping all these amazing images onto a Copic freindly paper using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then coloring them with Copic markers. The colors I used are listed below. I cut the three panels and stenciled a cloud background using distress oxide ink and a cloud stencil. This card might look impressive, but it's really quite easy to assemble.  There's a piece on the inside that you wrap a slick piece of plastic baggie or something along those lines.  (I acutally used one of my doggie waste bags - unused of course...yuck!! - LOL! Then you attach one of the pull panels to the front of the baggie, and the other panel to the back of the baggie. So when you pull on them, they slide right out of their little pockets! It's really quite awesome! There are lots of You Tube videos out there that show you how to make them. Just do a search for double slider cards. You can either use dies that are made for them, or create it yourself. Either way - they are lots of fun and impressive, I think! I used several Art Impressions sets to create this. They are all linked below for your convenience.

And the view with both sides pulled out to reveal the entire scene.

That's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Valentine Bear tag featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI Fans!

As promised last week, here's another card using those adorable bears from #5005 Valentine Bears Set and I wanted to make a tag. So I grabbed the large tag die from 5132 Tag Stitched Dies and went to work. I stamped the image onto a Copic friendly paper and colored them with the markers listed below. I just had to add the honey pot and bee! I mean...what bear can resist a big old honey pot??!! LOL!  For the frame I used 5768 Decorative Journal Page 1 and for the small tags, 5543 Journal Template Die Set. The papers are from 5741 Valentines PP. The adorable bee and honey pot are from 5925 Honey Bee Set. Tucked in behind the sentiment tag is a heart that was cut using 5721 Nested Heart Dies.  These are all linked below for your convenience.

A pink bear??? Featuring Art Impressions Stamps

 Hello AI Fans!

I don't know about you, but I am all up into Valentine's Day!! I have had a blast this week creating with pink and red and lots of hearts. LOL! So the current challenge for a free Art Impressions stamp set of your choice is Monochromatic. So that's exactly what I did. Who the heck wouldn't love a pink bear!! LOL! I know I sure do! For this challenge I used 5005 Valentine Bears Set and colored those little cuties in different shades of reds, pinks, and violets. I also used 5721 Nested Heart Dies and 5741 Valentines PP for my project. These cuties are perfectly enough for the front of my card. I simply added a heart and a bow and called her done. The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo black ink onto a Copic friendly paper and then I colored them with the colors listed below. In the coming weeks, you'll see I've used the rest of these adorable images for some other projects.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit today! Until next time - stay crafty!!

Making Memories featuring Art Impressions Stamps

 Hello AI Fans,

As I grew older, I started to realize that I wasn't just out with family and friends having fun, but that we were making memories. Yes, for myself, but mostly for my kids and grandkids. During really special moments, I would think to myself, my heart just took a picture. These are the things that people will look back on and smile. Is there anything more special? I don't think so. And it's the smallest little things that seem to leave the biggest marks on our hearts. My card today represents that.  I've always said that Bonnie has an amazing gift for capturing such joy in her images! Look at those precious faces enjoying their ride in the snow! They are from #5953 Woodland Critters Set. I added a wonderful sentiment from #5797 Little Things Sentiment Set. The images are stamped with Memento Ink Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copic markers which are listed below.

So that's it for me today. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit, and until next time - stay crafty!!

One more Christmas card from 2024 featuring Art Impressions Stamps

 Hello AI Fans!

I'd like to start by wishing all of a you a very happy and healthy new year! I'm super excited to see what the year has in store for all of us. I have one last Christmas card that I didn't get to show you before the holiday, but it's never too early to start on your 2025 Christmas cards!! I used one of my favorite Christmas sets, #5459 Christmas Mice Set. These are the cutest little mice around! I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo black ink, and then colored them up with the markers which are listed below. All the products are linked below for your convenience. This would even fit in with our current challenge Craft Time is Golden because I added a cute bell onto the bow. I love the little tinkle sound when you move the card.

So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - I hope you have a crafty day!

Art Impressions Teeny Tiny Challenge

 Hello AI Fans!

The new challenge at Art Impressions is Teeny Tiny! How fun!! So I've made a few things that fit right in! The first thing I did was grab the cute little ornament stamp and die from 5459 Christmas Mice Set. I stamped and colored it one time, and then used the die to cut out five more layers out of cardstock.  Glued them all together and then glued the colored piece on top for a cute, quick little ornament! Added some twine and three jingle bells and it was done.

Next I decided I wanted to make some tags. I used a variety of sets for these, but made them all cohesive. They're fold up tags so the top decorated piece actually lifts up so you can put a greeting on the inside or a to/from stamp. Whatever you want! I chose to use a cute sentiment from 5565 Cheers My Deers Set on the inside. They're Super easy to make, just score your top panel about 1/2" down and only glue the top portion to your tag underneath it.

So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Dreaming of Santa featuring Art Impressions

Hello AI Fans and happy December!

I don't know about you, but I love the Holidays! The movies, the music, the feeling of joy in the air all around me. I guess I'm just a kid at heart. So making holiday cards are one of my favorites! When I saw this cute little mouse sipping his hot cocoa in 5564 Mousey Christmas Set, I saw something else in my mind.  So I set out to create it. I used a little piece of Post It tape from the Art Impressions Shop and masked out the straw coming out of this cuties mouth. Then I just took my Copic pen and drew in the lines of his mouth that were missing from the mask. Quick result was a little sleeping mouse. I then grabbed 5459 Christmas Mice Set and used the cute little table holding a plate of cookies for Santa. You see, he was sooooo excited for Christmas, that he dressed up in his Santa suit and put out the plate of cookies, but before you know it, he's snoozing away and dreaming of the jolly guy! I could have used a smaller Santa for the dream bubble, but I wanted Santa to seem as large as real life to him. So I grabbed 5775 Front & Back Santa cause I also wanted him to appear as though he's asking you to be quiet so you don't wake the mouse. The papers I used are linked below. Anyway, that was how my mind worked to create this card and I love how it turned out.  I hope you do too!

Hello Fall featuring Art Impressions

 Hello AI fans!!

Hope you're having a wonderful start to your week! I've got one more fall card to show you today before you start seeing all Christmas cards from me. LOL! I used the absolutely adorable set #5507 Harvest Together Set. These are the cutest scarecrows I've ever seen! I started by stamping the image onto a Copic friendly paper and then coloring her with the markers listed below. I really like the color she turned out cause she looks like she's made from a potato sack!  I made the card super simple by using a die in my stash to create the scalloped card. All you have to do is score and fold your cardstock in half for your card base. Place your die with the top cutting edge just above the fold of your paper. Cut it out and you have your card base. Then use a complete die cut on top of the card base so you have the decoration on the top of the card as well! So simple to do and I feel it really adds a lot to the card. The Hello Fall die cut is from #5592 Harvest Journal Die Set.

That's it for me today. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!
