Hello and welcome...
There's another great challenge over at Forever Friends this week....
the theme of the Fortnightly Challenge is to
USE RIBBON AND/OR LACE
The Ribbon Girl and Pink Gem Designs are sponsoring our challenge...
see below for more details.
My first card has been made using a cute image from Pink Gem Designs
called 'Birds in a Row'
I enjoyed making my card and the birds are lovely to colour in... they would also be fab paper pieced and I was going to try and make another card using this technique, but I just ran out of time for this challenge :o(
I overlapped the bird image over part of the open aperture and stuck three coloured coordinated ribbons on the opposite side... please don't look too closely at the ribbons, unfortunately my scissors are blunt (need a new pair) and so I found it difficult to trim the edges perfectly and so they are fraying slightly :o(
Here is a photo showing the card open...
I would like to enter my Birds card into the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations No198: Anything goes, with the option of flowers
I Love Promarkers No152: Anything goes
A Gem of a Challenge No62: Holidays (I've gone for Spring Bank Holiday)
And the gorgeous FF christening image adorns my second card.
It was made for a beautiful little girl called Lilly Marie who's Christening Day was last week.
I really did enjoy making my 'girly and pink' Christening card.
Here's a photo of the inside of my card,
again using beautiful Docaft Forever Friends 'Spring' papers
... and this photos shows the layering of the little bears
I would like to enter my Christening card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew No28: Girly
Emerald Faeries No39: Celebration
Pennys No111: Embossing
Whoopsi Daisy: For a Child
Here are some more details about our wonderful sponsors...
