Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop Title

Welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop.

The theme this month is Paper Scraps.

Now if you are like me you may have loads of pretty papers that you have not used yet and they are slowly piling up. Or you keep every scrap of paper and card stock you have leftover from a project. Well I am going to show how to use up those scraps to make a variety of quick and easy cards. I made this card using up some scraps from the Them Bones Designer Series Paper.

How to make a Halloween card using paper scraps.

Photograph of finished card using paper scraps

First I started with a Basic White A6 landscape card base. Next I cut a Basic Black mat layer to stick my scraps onto. I then cut the paper scraps into 2cm x 9.5cm strips. These strips I stuck onto the Basic Black mat layer and then added them to the Basic White card base.

Next I stamped the ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment using Start Sky ink onto Basic White card stock and cut to size. I then cut a Cajun Craze mat layer and stuck the sentiment onto it at a slight angle. Finally I stuck it onto the card front.

I hope you have enjoyed my very quick and simple card using paper scraps. Remember you can have different widths of paper scraps, use squares or rectangles instead of strips. Why not have a go at making your own paper scrap cards and share them onto my Facebook Group.
